A man was shot during a robbery in the West Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side Saturday morning.

About 5:30 a.m., the 27-year-old was in the 100 block of South Kostner when an unknown male shot him in the buttocks during a robbery, police said.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition had stabilized, police said.
