Man shot on Near North Side

A man was shot on the Near North Side Saturday morning.

About 6:05 a.m., the 34-year-old man was shot in the abdomen in the 0-100 block of East Chicago, police said.

He was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where his condition had stabilized, police said.
