A third teenage girl has been charged with robbing a woman of her cellphone after following her from a north suburban CTA station.

The robbery happened about 12:05 a.m. Jan. 10 in the 800 block of Judson in Evanston.

Three girls saw the victim at the Main Street station on the Purple Line, and followed her to Judson, where they took her cellphone by force, Evanston police said in a statement.

Police identified two of the suspects from CTA security footage and placed them both under arrest Friday, the statement said. Those Chicago girls, ages 13 and 14, are being charged with robbery in juvenile court.

The third suspect, a 15-year-old Chicago girl, has also been arrested and charged with robbery, police said Tuesday.

Their names are not being released because of their age, police said.
