Kurt Cobain’s daughter Frances surfaces at Sundance

For the past few years, Frances Cobain — who reportedly no longer wants to use her middle name of Bean — has been very much under the radar. She has worked hard to maintain her privacy, pursue her art career and not seek media attention of any kind.

However, last week, the daughter of the late Nirvana icon Kurt Cobain and rocker/sometime actress Courtney Love did surface at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. The 22-year-old, joined by her longtime fiance Isaiah Silva, himself a musician and part of the Rambles group, were in the winter sport resort to help promote an HBO documentary about Frances’ father.

At the festival, it also was clear to everyone that Cobain and her mom have patched things up.

That’s good to hear, considering the mother and daughter battled over the control of Frances’ trust accounts in the past. That supposedly has all been resolved, according to a source close to Love.

As for Frances herself, as you can see in the photo here, she does sure look like the appropriate heir to grunge rock royalty.
