A man was shot while driving through the West Side on the Eisenhower Expressway late Friday.

About 10 p.m., the 24-year-old was driving a minivan westbound near Kostner when he was shot in the leg, according to Illinois State Police.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital and his injuries were not considered to be life-threatening, police said.
