Following her basketball team’s overtime loss to Evanston at Dundee-Crown, Stevenson guard Ashley Richardson talked about how she enjoyed shooting free throws in pressure situations.

The sophomore showed it again Saturday.

Richardson went 8 of 10 from the foul line, and Stevenson made 24 of 28 free throws, as the Patriots opened the new year by rallying for a 51-42 win over visiting Palatine in nonconference action.
