One hurt in Fuller Park shooting

A 19-year-old man was shot in the South Side Fuller Park neighborhood on Friday afternoon.

About 3:20 p.m. he showed up at Saint Bernard Hospital with a gunshot wound to the back, police News Affairs Officer Bari Lemmon said. He told investigators the shooting happened in the 4600 block of South Wentworth.

He was transferred to Stroger Hospital, where he was listed in good condition, Lemmon said.

Police said the man has documented gang ties.
