Thieves crash van into Best Buy in Lincoln Park

Thieves crashed a minivan into a Best Buy store early Sunday in the North Side Lincoln Park neighborhood and got away with several items.

A minivan crashed into the front window of the store in the 2600 block of North Clark a few minutes before 5 a.m., police said.

Several males got out of the van, went in the store and stole various items before running away, police said. None of the suspects have been apprehended.

It wasn’t immediately clear whether the robbery was connected to a series of other crash-and-grab burglaries in the Chicago area over the past several months.
