Man shot at, injured by shattered glass in West Englewood

A man who thought he was shot early Sunday in the West Englewood neighborhood was actually injured by shattered glass, police said.

The man, thought to be in his 20s, was a passenger in a vehicle that was traveling in the 7100 block of South Damen, police said. At about 3:30 a.m., someone opened fire at the vehicle.

The man was then self-transported to Holy Cross Hospital with what he thought was a gunshot wound to his arm, police said.
