A 10-year-old boy was shot in the Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood on the South Side Sunday afternoon.

A 2:35 p.m., a man on a bicycle fired shots at a group of men in the 7600 block of South Parnell Avenue when the boy was shot. The man fled from the scene, police said.

The boy suffered a gunshot wound to the leg and was taken to Comer Children’s Hospital in good condition, police said.
