All lanes reopen after Kennedy crash

All lanes of the inbound Kennedy Expressway are now open after a crash Tuesday morning on the Northwest Side.

The crash, which involved two commercial vehicles, happened in the eastbound lanes of I-90 at Harlem at 5:20 a.m., according to a statement from Illinois State Police.

Minor injuries were reported as a result of the crash, and three eastbound lanes were initially shut down, state police said. Two of those lanes had reopened by 7 a.m., and the far right lane reopened by 9 a.m.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
