A man was shot Wednesday afternoon in the West Garfield Park neighborhood.

The shooting happened in the 3900 block of West Lexington about 2:30 p.m., according to Chicago Police.

The 29-year-old man was shot below the eye and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, police said.

The men, 18 and 20, were in the 1800 block of West Monroe Street about 9:20 p.m. when two people got out of a light-colored sedan and fired shots. They were hospitalized in fair condition.
