Report: Patrick Beverley arrested on open warrant in Houston

Houston Rockets guard Patrick Beverley was arrested on an open warrant en route to practice on Wednesday morning, according to ABC13 in Houston.

According to the Harris County Precinct 8 Constable’s Office, Beverley was stopped this morning on Beltway 8 at Telephone Road by Pearland police. It was a Class C misdemeanor warrant for Operating a Motor Vehicle on Toll Road When Prohibited issued out of Harris County.

According to a statement from the Rockets, the issue was over vehicle registration and a toll pass.

Beverley reportedly paid a fine and was released. The former Marshall star is expected to play in Wednesday night’s game vs. the Nets.
