Illinois is 220/1 to win NCAA men's basketball tournament

New seasons are usually full of promise, but things are already looking grim for Illinois, at least according to Vegas.

According to VegasInsider.com, Illinois has 220/1 odds to win the 2016 NCAA

Tournament.

That’s ninth best in the Big 10, behind Maryland (9/1), Michigan State (18/1), Indiana (40/1), Michigan (40/1), Purdue (75/1), Wisconsin (85/1), Ohio State (110/1) and Iowa (175/1).

The Illini finished last season 19-14 and lost in the first round of the NIT. Illinois has qualified for the NCAA Tournament just once since 2012.
