Three armed robberies in November in the West Town and East Garfield Park neighborhoods have prompted a community alert from police.

In each of the robberies, two men knock the victim down on the street, or tell them they have a gun, then steal their personal property, according to the alert.

The first robbery happened about 1 a.m. Nov. 3 in the 600 block of North Ashland. The other two happened Nov. 5 within an hour of each other–6 p.m. in the 600 block of North Paulina, and 7 p.m. in the 2700 block of West Washington.

The suspects are described as two black males 17 to 20, weighing between 145-155 pounds.
