Kevin Youkilis uses bathroom selfie to verify himself on Twitter

Kevin Youkilis is taking matters into his own hands.

The former White Sox infielder has been on Twitter for more than a month now, but has yet to receive his ‘verified’ check mark from the social network.

But who needs a check mark when you have a bathroom selfie?

After nine years with the Red Sox, Youkilis played 80 games with the White Sox in 2012, when he batted .236 with 15 home runs.

He’s a lifetime .281 hitter.

The Cubs added Youkilis to their front office staff as a special assistant prior to this past season.
