Man shot in Back of the Yards

A man was shot early Monday in the Back of the Yards neighborhood on the South Side.

The man, 28, was found on the sidewalk in the 5400 block of South Paulina about 1:20 a.m. with gunshot wounds to his lower abdomen and left buttocks, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.

Police said the man was not cooperating with investigators.
