Chicago Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a 14-year-old boy who went missing Friday from the University Village neighborhood on the Near West Side.

Robert Horn was last seen in the 1000 block of South Lytle, according to a missing person alert.

The teen, who also goes by “Rob,” was wearing a blue fleece Columbia jacket, green short-sleeve uniform shirt, black pants and black shoes, the alert said. He might also be carrying a black book bag with thin white stripes.

Horn is described as a 5-foot-6, 110-pound black boy with shoulder-length dreadlocks. He sometimes spends time near Chicago and Cambridge on the Near North Side, as well as Van Buren and Laramie in South Austin, police said.

Anyone with information should call Area Central detectives at (312) 747-8380.
