Man shot multiple times in Austin

A man was shot multiple times Thursday morning in the West Side Austin neighborhood.

The 22-year-old man was shot in the 5700 block of West Augusta by someone in a passing vehicle about 9:30 a.m., according to Chicago Police.

He was shot in the arm and back, and was driven to West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park, where his condition stabilized, police said.
