NBA Hall of Famer Dennis Rodman has a lot to be proud of during his basketball career—five championship rings, seven rebounding titles and two all-star appearances.
Rodman also was a key component of the Bulls’ 1995-96 team that won an NBA-record 72 games. No other team has ever won 70.
With a 13-0 start this season, the Golden State Warriors are taking dead aim at the Bulls’ mark. After coming back from a 23-point deficit to beat the Clippers on Thursday, the Warriors are two wins away from tying the best start in league history (1948-49 Washington Capitals and 1993-94 Houston Rockets).
Many think the Warriors have a good shot at breaking the Bulls’ record. Rodman doesn’t care if they do—the Bulls “did it first.”
"People say they're going to go 72-10, I don't care they can go 81-1. We did it first." - Dennis Rodman on '96 #Bulls vs current #Warriors

So there.
The Bulls will try to halt the Warriors’ streak at 9:30 p.m. tonight.
