Bears downgrade Antrel Rolle to questionable

The Bears downgraded Antrel Rolle from probable to questionable on Saturday after he suffered a knee injury.

Friday, the safety was listed as probable with the same ankle injury that has plagued him since he was carted off the field in Week 4. Saturday, the Bears downgraded his status, adding a knee injury.

If Rolle cannot play, the Bears are likely to start rookie Harold Jones-Quartey, who started two games with Rolle out.

The Bears failed to provide an update last week when they failed to bring Pernell McPhee and Matt Forte to St. Louis. The team said it told the league office and the Rams, but it did not make the announcement public, as is required by the NFL.
