Cardale Jones shocked everyone when he announced he would return to Ohio State for his junior season following a national championship run earlier this year. Now the Buckeyes quarterback may have just announced his decision to move on.

Jones posted this on his Twitter account following the Buckeyes’ 17-14 loss to Michigan State on Saturday.

Saturday’s game marked the first game this season that Jones didn’t play a single snap. He lost his starting job to J.T. Barrett last month.

Considered by some to be a first-round pick had he declared for the NFL draft following last season, Jones has struggled in 2015.

In nine games, the six-foot-five junior has completed 63 percent of his passes for 1,460 yards, eight touchdowns and five interceptions.

Barrett, meanwhile, has thrown for 622 yards, eight touchdowns and three interceptions.
