It was hard for many fans to believe it when the Bulls gave Tom Thibodeau his walking papers after last season with two years left on his contract.

Under Thibs the Bulls played hard and won, often with next-man-up lineups.

The atmosphere is more relaxed under new coach Fred Hoiberg.

While it might seem as if the intensity level has fallen off a bit, the 9-4 Bulls are actually a game ahead of their record from a year ago.

As the veteran team keeps trying to find its way in Hoiberg’s system, who knows what the future could bring to Madison Street.

Already, though, in this young season, Bulls fans have much to be thankful for.
