SHARE Man shot in South Chicago

A man was shot in the South Chicago neighborhood Tuesday evening.

About 5:30 p.m., the 24-year-old man was walking north in the 8600 block of South Exchange when a dark-colored SUV pulled up and someone inside shot him in the buttocks, police said.

The man was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where his condition had stabilized, police said.
