Man critically wounded in Humboldt Park shooting

A man was critically wounded in a shooting Wednesday morning in the Humboldt Park neighborhood on the West Side.

The shooting happened in the 3900 block of West Division at 10:42 a.m., according to preliminary information from Chicago Police.

The 28-year-old was shot in the abdomen and was taken in critical condition to Mount Sinai Hospital, police said.

Police said the shooting might be gang-related.
