Two men were injured in a shooting early Thursday in the Logan Square neighborhood on the Northwest Side.

The men, ages 30 and 44, were standing in an alley in the 1800 block of North Richmond when two males walked up and fired at them, police said.

The 30-year-old was shot in the left buttock and taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, police said. The 44-year-old was shot in the left hand and taken to Norwegian American Hospital. Both their conditions were stabilized.

A police source said the 30-year-old man is a self-admitted gang member.
