A man robbed a US Bank branch Monday afternoon in west suburban Oak Park.

The bank at 6020 W. Roosevelt Rd. was robbed at 12:42 p.m., according to the FBI.

The suspect implied he had a firearm and a bomb, but he did not display any weapons, according to David Powers, spokesman for the Village of Oak Park. No one was injured.

He is described as a 30-to-40-year-old black man, between 5-foot-8 and 6 feet with brown eyes and medium build, the FBI said. He had his head covered with a hat and was wearing a fake beard and dark clothing.

The FBI is investigating the robbery. Anyone with information should call (312) 421-6700.
