Man shot during West Pullman robbery

A man was shot during an armed robbery attempt Friday morning in the West Pullman neighborhood on the Far South Side.

The 45-year-old was shot during an attempted robbery in the 300 block of East 119th Street, police said. He was found inside a vehicle in that block at 6:55 a.m. with gunshot wounds to the arm and abdomen.

He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in critical condition, but his condition was later stabilized, police said.
