While he was in college at Florida, Bulls center Joakim Noah played for the best coach he says he ever played for. Earlier this week, Noah lavished his former coach Billy Donovan with praises and compliments.

As good as he feels about his relationship with Donovan, the Oklahoma City coach revealed that he feels as strong — if not stronger — about Noah’s commitment to him.

From Nick Friedell:

I love the guy to death, Donovan said. What he did for me and our program while I was at Florida was incredible. I’ve always had a lot of love and affection for him. Forget the basketball piece of it, I think a lot of people see the floppy hair and the chest bumping and the passion but I don’t think people a lot of times get a chance to really see him in a locker room. He’s one of the greatest teammates that I’ve ever had a chance to coach.

The Bulls took down the Thunder 104-98 Thursday night in Chicago. Noah finished with four points, four assists and four offensive rebounds (seven in total). He was unselfish during the tight game and made plays as apparent by his four dimes.

The Thunder have dropped the last three games. Meanwhile, the Bulls look to start a new winning streak after losing by nearly 30 points to the Charlotte Hornets.
