The driver of a car stolen from a western suburb ran away Monday morning after it crashed into a Streeterville building on the Near North Side.

About 3 a.m., officers were called to a vehicle crashed into a building in the 400 block of East Ohio, according to Chicago Police.

The car, which was reported stolen out of Oak Park, was empty when officers arrived at the scene, police said.

No major damage was reported to the building, police said.

The man was found unresponsive in an alley in the 10700 block of South Lowe Avenue, police said.
