Jay Cutler became the Bears’ all-time passing touchdowns leader Monday night when he found Martellus Bennett for a 1-yard score in the second quarter.
Cutler has 138 career passing touchdowns, passing Sid Luckman’s 137. The Bears’ legend played for Chicago from 1939-50.
Luckman, a Pro Football Hall of Famer, held the mark for 23,794 days, dating to Sept. 17, 1950.
Cutler tied the record against the Vikings last week. His touchdown Monday night helped to redeem a rough first half, which included Cutler fumbling away the ball on a sack and throwing a pick-six that Chargers cornerback Jason Verrett returned 68 yards.
