Shea McClellin remains out for Bears vs. Chargers

SAN DIEGO — Bears linebacker Shea McClellin will miss his third consecutive game with a left knee injury Monday night against the Chargers.

After practicing in limited fashion last week, McClellin tested out his knee before the game at Qualcomm Stadium. He was wearing a large brace. McClellin was injured on Oct. 11 against the Chiefs.

Linebackers LaRoy Reynolds and Jonathan Anderson are expected to split time in McClellin’s place against the Chargers.

The Bears’ other inactives include: center Hroniss Grasu, safety Harold Jones-Quartey, offensive tackle Tayo Fabuluje and defensive end Ziggy Hood.

Running back Matt Forte (right knee) and receiver Eddie Royal (left knee) were ruled out on Saturday.

Jermon Bushrod (shoulder) is active, but Charles Leno Jr. remains the starter at left tackle. Matt Slauson will start at center.

Defensive lineman Bruce Gaston, a Chicago native, is active for the first time since being signed off the Packers’ practice squad.
