A 23-year-old man was shot as he stood outside in the 6900 block of South Peoria in Englewood Saturday morning.

Around 11:30 a.m., two men came out of a gangway across the street and fired, striking the man once in the left hip,according to the police, who said the man was in good condtion at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.
