Two men were shot and wounded late Friday in the 1700 block of West 47th Street in Back of the Yards.

It happened around 10:30 p.m., according to the police, who said the two were outside when a red sport-utility vehicle pulled up and a man inside opened fire.

One of the victims, 32, was described as being in “guarded” condition at Stroger Hospital with a gunshot wound to the abdomen. The other man, 27, was being treated at Stroger for two gunshot wounds to a leg, police said
