SHARE Police: Burglar breaking into North Side homes while victims sleep

A burglar has broken into at least two North Side homes in the last week while residents were asleep.

The burglar enters apartments during the overnight hours, according to a community alert from Area North detectives.

The burglaries happened about 1 a.m. March 10 in the 2500 block of North Marshfield; and between 2-8 a.m. on March 14 in the 4400 block of North Clark, police said.

During the Marshfield burglary, the suspect was described as a male wearing a ski mask.
