Man shot in Auburn Gresham

A man was shot and seriously wounded in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood on the South Side Wednesday night.

The 23-year-old was shot in the arm, hand and groin about 8:40 p.m. in the 8000 block of South Carpenter, police said.

He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in serious condition, police said.
