Man shot to death last week in Schiller Park identified

A man who was shot to death Friday night in northwest suburban Schiller Park has been identified.

Phillip Scheau, 24, suffered multiple gunshot wounds in the 9400 block of West Lawrence Avenue, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Scheau, of Des Plaines, was taken to Lutheran General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 10:56 p.m. Friday, according to the medical examiner’s  office.

His death was ruled a homicide.

Schiller Park police have not yet provided details on the shooting.
