Man shot in Auburn Gresham

A man was shot Saturday night in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood on the South Side.

About 8:20 p.m., the 18-year-old was standing on the corner in the 8400 block of South Sangamon when he heard shots ring out and realized he’d been struck, police said.

He was shot in the lower back and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where his condition stabilized, police said.
