Aurora Central 6, Plano 0: Amanda Scarpitti, Jordyn Sundberg and Gina Cortino each had two goal to key Aurora Central (3-0).

Barrington 5, Fremd 0: Jenna Szczesny’s two goals fueled Barrington to victory.

Buffalo Grove 3, Elk Grove 0: Sarah O’Connor knocked in two goals and added an assist to lead Buffalo Grove. Sara Busse added a goal and an assist for the Bison.

Loyola 5, Edgebrook (Wis.) 1: Riley Burns and KK Phelan each scored twice as Loyola (4-1-1) cruised to victory.

Von Steuben 4, Steinmetz 1: Patricia George recorded a hat trick in guiding Von Steuben (6-0).

No fatalities reported in Iowa as officials plan to demolish partially collapsed building
At least one person was injured and many residents and business owners have been displaced. Demolition is expected to begin Tuesday morning, the city says.
