A 22-year-old man was shot and killed in the Park Manor neighborhood on the South Side Saturday night.

About 8:40 p.m., he was inside a vehicle parked in the 400 block of East 72nd Street when two people walked up and one of them shot him multiple times in the side, police said.

An acquaintance drove him to Jackson Park Hospital and Medical Center, where he later died, police said. The Cook County medical examiner’s office confirmed a death at that time and location of the shooting but could not provide more information.
