Man shot in Woodlawn refuses medical treatment

A man was shot shortly before noon Friday in the Woodlawn neighborhood on the South Side.

The 19-year-old was outside in the 6400 block of South Eberhart about 11:55 a.m. when someone in a passing gray vehicle fired at him, police News Affairs Officer Janel Sedevic said. The car then drove off eastbound on 64th Street.

The man was shot in the right leg and refused medical treatment, Sedevic said.
