Man wearing Packer’s hat attempts robbery on South Side

A man wearing a Green Bay Packer’s hat attempted to rob a bank Saturday afternoon in the Woodlawn neighborhood on the South Side.

About 2:20 p.m., the man entered a Chase bank at 6650 S. Stony Island and attempted a non-takeover robbery, the FBI said.

The man is 5-foot-11 and has a medium build, the FBI said. He was wearing a dark coat and a Packer’s hat during the attempted robbery.
