Who has been the best-selling NFL jersey in Wisconsin since last season?
Aaron Rodgers? Nope. Clay Matthews? Nope. Jordy Nelson? Nope.
Try Chicago Bears running back Matt Forte.
According to jersey-sales data released by Dick’s Sporting Goods, since the end of last season Matt Forte has overtaken Aaron Rodgers in Packers country.
“There must be a lot of Bears fans in Wisconsin,” Forte said. “Either that, or they’re buying it to burn it or something. I don’t know.”
Rodgers is still 14th overall in NFL sales; Forte comes in at 23rd.
Other Bears in the Top 100: Jay Cutler (34); Kevin White (50); Jared Allen (61) and Kyle Fuller (85).
