John Slattery, who portrayed Roger Sterling on the long-running hit “Mad Men,” is going to be joining the cast of “Veep,” playing a Wall Street mogul and potential romantic interest for Julia Louis-Dreyfus’ title character (who, of course, has now become the first female U.S. president on the show).

Slattery told Showbiz411‘s Roger Friedman his character is loosely based on J.P. Morgan Chase financial biggie Jamie Dimon, who formerly lived in Chicago before moving on to take over the Chase empire in New York.
