Bears add QB David Fales to practice squad

The Bears brought back quarterback David Fales on Thursday, this time to the team’s practice squad.

Fales had been released Tuesday, and cleared waivers, allowing the Bears to retain their 2014 sixth-round draft pick.

The San Jose State graduate beat out Zac Dysert for the team’s third quarterback job by playing most of the Bears’ final preseason game. He started last season on the Bears’ practice squad but was promoted during the season when another team showed interest in adding him to their 53-man roster.
