A 17-year-old boy was shot Tuesday night in the East Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.

The teenager was walking in the 600 block of South Homan about 11:30 p.m. when he heard gunfire and felt pain, according to Chicago Police.

He was shot in the right knee and suffered a graze wound to the chest and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
