SEEN ON THE SCENE: Recent sightings at RPM Steak have included “Empire” star Trai Byers, pro golf phenom Jordan Spieth, the Hawks’ Niklas Hjalmarsson, the Rockets’ Patrick Beverley, the Cubs’ Dexter Fowler and Justin Grimm, and former Bear Israel Idonije. … Meanwhile over at sister eatery, RPM Italian, the Hawks’ Duncan Keith was spied dining. Ditto for the Cardinals’ Ed Easley and the Bears’ Matt Forte. … Bub City was the eatery of choice for country star Brett Eldredge, the Bears QB Jimmy Clausen, plus pro golfer Dustin Johnson and his fiancee, model and singer Paulina Gretzky, and the Cubs’ Anthony Rizzo. … Former Bear Brian Urlacher made the scene at Chicago Cut Steakhouse, as did (separately) the Cardinals’ Brandon Moss and Bears kicker Robbie Gould. … The Hawks’ Marian Hossa was spotted checking out C Chicago seafood emporium. … Actor Steven Williams dined at Mr. Brown’s Lounge, while here filming “Chicago P.D.,” enjoying an assortment of the restaurant’s signature Jamaican goodies. … Speaking of “Chicago P.D.,” series regular Patrick John Flueger was seen dining at Quartino with family members in town visiting from Minnesota. … Finally, a note arrived from Chicago native and longtime “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation” actor Jon Wellner (Henry Andrews) who says he was delighted “I’m lucky enough to have a couple of great scenes with fellow Chicagoan William Petersen,” who returns for that “CSI” finale episode, airing Sunday. Petersen, of course, created the character of Grissom and was one of the long-top-rated series’ original stars.
