Jay Cutler has lost the top spot. No, that’s a good thing.

Much was made of the fact that Cutler led the NFL in turnovers last season with 18 interceptions and six lost fumbles. When he threw the interception Sunday that subsequently led to his hamstring injury, it was Cutler’s second pick of the season, giving him a league-high 26 turnovers since the start of the 2014 season.

Andrew Luck would have none of it. The Colts quarterback, who had 22 giveaways last season and two more in Week 1, added four turnovers against the Jets on Monday night to surpass Cutler for statistical ignominy.
