A man was seriously wounded in a drive-by shooting in the Chicago Lawn neighborhood on the Southwest Side late Thursday.

About 11:35 p.m., the 20-year-old was standing outside in the 3500 block of West 61st Place when someone in a passing vehicle shot him in the back, police said.

He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in serious condition, police said.
