Man wounded in Greater Grand Crossing shooting

A man was shot Friday night in the Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood on the South Side.

A 29-year-old man was near the 7800 block of South Drexel Avenue at 7:53 p.m. when he heard shots and felt pain, police said.

The man suffered gunshot wounds to his upper and lower right leg, and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn where his condition was stabilized, police said.
